In the dim light of the assembly hall, a secret meeting was taking place.

The leading elder spoke. "His expansion is too fast. Those who openly opposed him have already disappeared - cleanly and without a trace." A younger participant said "There are also many rebels. What methods did he use to make them so devoted to him?"
The elder stroked his walking stick and said "I suspect they have found a new source of food. Before the Divine Bird brought back the Opulent Iris, the situation had already become irreversible." The crowd fell silent...

"We must escape from here!"
These words, like a bright shooting star cutting through the dark night sky, echoed in the hall from the clear voice of a young girl, shocking everyone present.
"This place is surrounded by sea!"
"We have no ships!"
"This is a blessed land bestowed upon us by the Divine Bird!"
The hall erupted into chaotic opposition.

The girl pointed toward a lush green sapling growing vigorously in the city. "Our bodies are not strong enough to bring down the giant trees on the island, but this sapling is enough for us to build boats."

"But the Divine Bird said this is the last sandalwood tree in the world! It will save Lilliput at the most critical moment. We cannot touch it!" The leading elder cried, his voice trembling with emotion.

"The most critical moment for Lilliput is now. We must preserve the last embers of reason." The girl's soft hair swayed in breeze under the moonlight. "I will bear all the blame."

Another moonlit night arrived. A small fleet set sail northward across the sea. The miraculous sandalwood ships seemed blessed by divine protection; wherever they traveled, the waters remained calm and the winds favourable.

A faint fragrance drifted from the hulls. The girl leaned against the mast, her loose strands of hair scattered by the wind. She thought back to the night she had lost her loved ones - under this same bright moonlight, a shooting star streaked across the sky, falling towards the distant north.
